New Haven Community Schools Bus Schedule

for the 2006-07 School Year

Please direct all transportation questions to "Mr. Bill" Zeeman at 586-749-3562 and avoid calling the school buildings when you have transportation questions. If you notice any problems when reviewing the bus schedule please call the bus garage before the first day of school.  All 5^th grade students will be riding the High School/Middle School buses.

Winding Creek Subdivision

All students living in the Winding Creek Subdivision and riding the bus to New Haven Community Schools will be picked up and dropped off at the corner of courts until permanent stops are established. Please be ready for your bus approximately 10 minutes early until the routes are well established.

 High School, Middle School, and 5th grade students ride the same bus to and from school. This bus will be in the Winding Creek Subdivision at approximately 6:41 a.m.

The purple bus, for elementary students ("New Haven Elementary" School) will be in the Winding Creek Subdivision at approximately 8:05 a.m.

Amherst Subdivision

High School/Middle School, and 5th grade students will be picked up at the Amherst main entrance. 

For Elementary School students, there will be four (4) bus stops in the Amherst Subdivision The bus will be in the subdivision at approximately 8:10 a.m. Please be ready for your bus approximately 10 minutes early until the routes are well established.

The first stop is at the mailboxes at the corner of Channing Street and North Bradford Street
The second stop is at the Main Pool at the corner of South Brockton Street and Amherst Avenue.
The third stop is at the corner of West Cranston Street and Amherst Avenue. 
The fourth stop will be at the lane across from Bradford Street on Amherst Avenue. 

New Haven High School & Middle School: Grades 5-12

New Haven Elementary School: Kindergarten - 4th Grade

 

RIVERBROOK MANUFACTURED HOME COMMUNITY:  There will be 6 bus stops in the park for students in grades Kindergarten through 3^rd.  The stops are as follows: 

1.     Corner of Dawn and Lewis Lane – will arrive at 8:20 am

2.     Mailboxes on Laine Lane (near Julie Lane)

3.     Mailboxes on Susan Lane North

4.     Corner of Susan Lane East and Bart Lane

5.     At the clubhouse

6.     Mailboxes at Cary Lane and Brandywine – will arrive at 8:05 am

It is strongly recommended that a parent or an adult accompany their child(ren) to the bus stop and make sure they know the stop number at which they are to get off on the way home.  AM Kindergarten students will be dropped off at their homes.  Parents are urged to make sure their child(ren) know at which stop to get off and meet them there.

QUAIL RUN MANUFACTURED HOME COMMUNITY:  The High School bus stop is on the west side of the clubhouse at 7:05 am.  Elementary students, those in Kindergarten through 4th grade, will be picked up at the clubhouse at 8:35 am.  Drop off is also at the clubhouse.  Middle School students (including 5th grade) will be picked up at the clubhouse at 7:15 am. 
 

MEADOW CREEK MANUFACTURED HOME PARK:  The High School bus stop will be at the park entrance on 27 Mile Rd. at 7:03 am.  Elementary students, Kindergarten through 4^th grade, will be picked up at the clubhouse and at the mailboxes on Apple Blossom Court.  Pick up will be at 8:15 am.

It is the policy of the New Haven Community Schools to transport students from home to school and from school to home ONLY. 

Office personnel and bus drivers have been told that dropping students off at a friends house after school, for anything other than an emergency will not be allowed.  Bus drivers have been directed to not deviate from their regular route and stops.
