Food Services management and services are provided by Chartwells Food Dining Services, Inc., a proud partner with New Haven Schools for over 15 years.  Our job is to make sure that we serve healthy, well-balanced meals, and that our customers enjoy what they eat.  We are an international corporation providing food services to at least 45 schools in the State of Michigan.   

Breakfast Service: 

 Breakfast is served daily in all schools.  A variety of entrees available, from poptarts & cereal to bagels & waffles, served with your choice of fruit or juice and milk.

Breakfast Price:            Students $1.00  
Reduced Students $0.30  
Adults $1.25

 Lunch Service: 

Please note that with the move of the 5th grade from the Elementary to
the Middle School, they will have more choices for their main lunch meal
as well as a-la-carte choices; therefore, they will be charged $2.00 for lunch. 

 Lunch Price:     Elementary Students (Grades K-4) $1.75  
Middle & High Students (Grades 5 - 12) $2.00
Reduced Students $0.40      
Milk only $0.40
Adult  $3.00

It is recommended that student prepay for meals with the cashier.  This money is used for meals only (breakfast & lunch).  Through written permission of parent only, a child may purchase a la carte items from the food service program off their prepaid account.  Students MAY NOT use their account for CASH withdrawals.  Written notice to the Food Service Director is required from parent to pull unused balance from their child’s account.  A history of your child’s account available upon request.

 NO CHARGING FOR FOOD IS ALLOWED. 

 Applications for the Free & Reduced Lunch Program are available in the main office or cashier in your cafeteria at all buildings.  Applications can be filled out any time or refilled when income or employment changes happen.

 Monthly menus and promotions are posted at each building.  Menus are sent home with students at the elementary school and are posted in the Middle and High Schools.  Menus are also available for download, on a monthly basis, from this site. 

 Students and parents are invited to participate in our Food Advisory Committee.  We meet on an announced basis to answer questions about the food service program and resolve any concerns about the nutrition and foods served.
