New Haven High School End of Year Information
NHHS Parents and Guardians,
We are approaching the end of our 2019/2020 school year. There are only a few weeks remaining for your students to finish up their work and earn the credits they deserve. Please check in on your students to make sure they are actively engaged in their studies and turning in the proper assignments to their teachers. For those of you with a student that was failing a class in Quarter 3, please check in PowerSchool to see that they have recouped their grade to passing and that they are on track now to earn a credit for that course. If you have any questions, please contact the office for assistance at 586-749-5104. Students not passing their classes will be recommended for summer schooling at the cost of the family.
Below is information regarding the end of the school year, pick up/drop off dates and times, along with our Credit/Letter Grade form.
Have a great week and we will see all of you very soon,

The Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer Program (P-EBT) provides temporary funding to address emergency food needs for families affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. P-EBT food assistance benefits will go to Michigan families with students ages 5-18 that are eligible for free or reduced-price school meals. This includes families currently receiving Food Assistance Program benefits, as well as those not currently enrolled in the program. No application is necessary for eligible families to receive P-EBT benefits.

Recent reports tell us that child abuse and neglect are on the rise which may be due to the additional stress families are facing now. Also, predators know that children are at home and may be vulnerable to them. With this in mind we want to share some resource to help all families stay safe:
Care House of Macomb County has a variety resources that can be helpful:
