Testing Out –
The State of Michigan allows students to "test out" of courses in which they are able to demonstrate knowledge of the content expectations associated with the subject area. This can be accomplished by obtaining at least 77% on all assessments related to the course.
Testing out is offered twice per year - in January and June. Interested students should fill an application out in counseling office.

Post-graduation Planning Resources
On August 3, 2023, the Michigan Department of Education (MDE) issued a memorandum regarding the requirements of MCL 380.1293. This is a reminder that by October 1, intermediate school districts (ISDs) and local education agencies (LEAs), both traditional public school districts and public school academies (PSAs), and nonpublic schools shall make available to each pupil enrolled in grades 8 to 12 the post-graduation planning resources. To ensure that the post-graduation planning resources reach each pupil, MDE recommends including the link in a direct communication to students, which could be in addition to posting the link on a district or school's website.
