Samantha Sosnovske - Board of Education, Trustee - Appointed September 8, 2021 -

Image of Samantha SosnovskeMy name is Samantha Sosnovske, I have been a  resident of this community since 2016. My husband Tim, and I have four children. Conner, a ninth grader attending New Haven High School. Destiney and Dominique are both third graders, and Sophia is a first grader all attending New Haven Elementary School.

I have 23 years of management experience, and 7 years of business ownership experience.  I am continuing to reach for my own educational goals, as a part-time student at our County Community College working towards my degree in Entrepreneurship and small business management. Returning to school has been a long term goal and was important to me because I understand just how important education is.

Our children’s prosperity is dependent on the education they will receive through the New Haven Community School District, and I am excited and proud to participate in the educational process for all New Haven students. I am looking forward to the challenges ahead in helping our students obtain their educations and secure their futures.

Your publicly elected School Board provides local educational leadership that is in the best interests of all children.  It contributes hundreds of hours each year to education-related issues.  Its major duties are to set policies and priorities for the district’s operation; upon recommendation, hire personnel; and establish the district’s budgets.

All School Board members are publicly elected to a six-year term in the November (even-year) general election. Voting takes place in precincts for your state and national elections.
