
NHHS computer science students visited Microsoft Detroit. They had a chance to see interactive demonstrations and displays, learn about the world's most widely adopted AI developer tool, GitHub Copilot, and had an opportunity to ask the Microsoft staff questions about Careers in Technology, Careers at Microsoft, or any other Career or Technology questions.





At track regionals, we had only a mere 13 athletes, yet they shined brightly! We proudly placed in 10 events for medals and have 3 State Qualifiers: Emma, Sophie, and Christian!!!
We could not be more proud of all these kids. Congratulations on a wonderful season.


We held our annual PowderBuff volleyball game at the high school. The seniors made it to the championship round against the girls varsity volleyball team. The seniors won the overall competition, with fun had by all.

Endeavour was buzzing with the sound of music this week!



Our Local Girl Scout Troop 77615 spent time making Insect Houses to hand around the city and support our buggy friends!


Congratulations to Emma R. for her outstanding achievement of winning Division MVP for girls at our Track and Field Division Meet! As a freshman, Emma's remarkable performance, securing first place in all four of her events, truly stands out. After careful consideration from coaches across our division, Emma was rightfully recognized for her exceptional talent and dedication. We are incredibly proud of Emma's accomplishments, and she is undoubtedly representing our district with excellence.

This week, students in Mrs. Bryner's Physics class had the opportunity to experiment with electric circuits.

New Haven High School is looking for a Mathematics teacher for the 2024/2025 school year!


New Haven's Track and Field team has had an exceptional season, achieving victories, setting personal records, and earning medals. They've not only excelled individually but also demonstrated outstanding sportsmanship by supporting teammates and cheering on other teams. At the district level, our small yet formidable team secured 19 event medals and earned the Girls MVP for Divisions. Keep shining, Rockets

The 2024 National Honor Society sponsored Color Run saw a fantastic turnout with approximately 110 participants and over 30 volunteers! It was a wonderful morning filled with fun and color. Participants were treated to grilled hot dogs, courtesy of Tank, for lunch as the Ice Queen truck served delicious ice cream treats, adding to the enjoyment of the event!


Saturday May 11 was the 9th District Congressional Art Show. Congresswoman Lisa McClain honored Penelope D., Sandra L., Anna D., Joseph E. (not pictured), and Kaylee Z. (not pictured) with congressional recognition for their art. Penelope received third place overall in Digital Art. Ms. Lisey also received a Congressional Record as a participating art teacher in the congressional show. Their work was proudly displayed at St. Clair County Community College. Congratulations to our high school artists!

The 2024 ASL Showcase featured NHHS ASL students performing 20 songs, showcasing their learning of Deaf culture, ASL signs, grammar rules, and demonstrating ASL's role in music. Divided into ASL 1, ASL 2, and ASL 3/4 groups, students translated and performed songs, providing entertainment for both the local Deaf community and the NHCS family, culminating in the announcement of this year's winners. Thank you Mrs. Cochrill for putting together this wonderful event for our New Haven community.
