Celebrate CTE Month!
Career and Technical Education Month is a public awareness campaign, that takes place each February to celebrate CTE, the accomplishments of CTE programs and the importance of CTE for all students of all ages.

Students and teachers ventured to MJR for the showing of the book turned movie “New Moon.” After the movie the typical debate ensued…team Jacob or team Edward. Requests were made for another unofficial field trip to see “Breaking Dawn” in March.

Next week kicks off Snowcoming Spirit Week at the high school. The class display cases were decorated to start the week off strong.

Want to see your favorite teacher get pied in the face? Here’s your chance!
Next week we’re hosting a Pie-a-Teacher fundraiser that will benefit Y.A.N.A. (You Are Not Alone). Tickets are $1 (cash only) and can be purchased at both lunches. So bring some cash and cast your vote for a chance to be able to pie your teacher!
Don’t miss out on the fun and support a great cause!

US History students had a Roaring 20's party. Each student was given a character from the era and had to research the person to take on their persona for the gathering. Once the research was done they had to stay in character and mingle and discuss details about themselves and learn about each other. The guests represented business, transportation, mass media, women's rights, the Jazz age, art and literature. They finished off the celebration by doing the Charleston.
