Big thanks to the Kindness Club and all the fantastic volunteers who made the glow dance at Endeavour possible!

NHHS HOSA competed in regionals Saturday January 20th, at Fraser High School. Competition was fierce with all of Macomb and St. Clair County as our Region. We had over 700 competitors in the 56 different events. New Haven had a great day and represented our school very well. We took 13 competitors and had 8 qualify for state competition, with three students scoring in the top three. To qualify for states, competitors had to be one of the top seven in their event.

NHCS will be in session for tomorrow. Although the backroads have been plowed and salted, there are still some slick areas. Tomorrow morning they are also predicting dense fog, so buses may be a little late. Please be patient. Getting our students safely to and from school is our number one priority!

Congratulations to our 2023/2024 BPA students. Amazing job at regionals. We look forward to seeing how everyone does at states!

We have gone back out to inspect the backroads of our district. Due to the icy conditions of many of these roads, NHCS district will be closed for Wednesday, January 24th. SACC and Childcare will also be closed.

As of right now, NHCS will be open for Wednesday, January 24th. HOWEVER, we are closely monitoring our back roads for the remainder of the evening and into the morning. PLEASE have a plan B ready, if we end up having to close in the morning. We We will know by 6:00 am if we are closing or able to stay open.

The New Haven High School Rocket Robotics team is looking for mentors to help build and code their robot. If you are good with tools, computers and small machinery, we need your help! We meet on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays after school from 2:30 to 3:30 and some Saturdays. If you can help, email Jennifer Nelson: jnelson@newhaven.misd.net

NHCS will be closed for Tuesday, Jan 23rd due to the winter advisory we are under. Sleet and ice are expected to start around 3:00 am and continue throughout the day, especially for the northern portions of Macomb County. Childcare and SACC will be closed as well.

Thanks Mr. Tony for keeping Endeavour's sidewalks clear during the snow today.

To assure our elementary students are picked up promptly at dismissal, we will be releasing High School and Middle School 20 minutes early to compensate for the weather. High School students will be released today at 1:55 pm and Middle School students will be released at 2:30.

New Haven High School bowling teams move to 14-0 on the season!

The NHCS will be closed for January 17th. The temperature is expected to drop overnight again, with winds returning causing morning temperatures to be anywhere from -15 to -20 degrees. SACC and childcare will be closed tomorrow as well. Any evening events scheduled for tomorrow will STILL BE TAKING PLACE.

This week, Greg Windingland and David Mercure from Lombardo Homes visited with several of our students to talk with them about careers in the home building industry. Thank you for your time and interest in our students.
